Primera Technology Introduces
“All-in-One” CD/DVD Duplication and Printing System
New Bravo™ Disc Publisher offers unprecedented ease of use and
affordability.
PLYMOUTH,
MN, USA (May 15, 2003) — Primera Technology, Inc., the world’s leading
developer and manufacturer of CD/DVD disc duplication and printing
equipment, today announced its Bravo Disc Publisher. Bravo is the
world’s first automated CD duplicating and printing system that is
priced at less than $2000 MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested List Price).
Until now, comparable systems have cost at least $4000 to $6000 (MSRP).
Instead of copying and labeling discs one at a time, Bravo is designed
for hands-free, automated production of up to 25 CDs or DVDs per job.
An advanced robotic mechanism is used to transport discs into the
built-in 52x CD-R recorder or optional Pioneer® combo DVD±R/CD-R
recorder. After recording, discs are transported to the integrated
printer and printed in full color at up to 2400 dpi resolution.
Typical applications include businesses, churches, film and video
producers, photography studios, music groups, schools as well as other
companies and organizations who have a need for in-house copying and
printing of CDs and DVDs. Virtually any digital information can be
recorded, including audio, data, video, photos and more.
Bravo attaches to any PC running Windows® 2000/XP through its built-in
FireWire™ (IEEE 1394) and USB interfaces. Bravo comes equipped with
PrimoDVD™ 2.0 duplication software by Sonic™. Sonic has partnered with
Primera Technology to offer a complete, professional disc duplication
solution. A professional labeling software program called SureThing™
CD Labeler Primera Edition is also included for graphic design.
Bravo also attaches to any Mac® running Apple® OS X. Bravo comes
equipped with Charismac Engineering’s Discribe™ V5.0 duplication
software and Magic Mouse Production's Discus™ labeling software. Mac
users can also design labels in any of their favorite graphic design
programs such as Adobe® Illustrator®, Photoshop®, etc.
“With Bravo, users who previously could not cost-justify in-house CD
or DVD duplication and printing now have an excellent solution for
less than $2000,” said Mark D. Strobel, Primera Technology’s Vice
President of Sales and Marketing. “Bravo offers all the advantages and
benefits of far more expensive systems, but at a significantly lower
price.”
Two Bravo models are available:
-
The Bravo CD Publisher with a 52x CD-R recorder is
priced at US$1995 (MSRP).
-
The Bravo DVD Publisher with a Pioneer DVD±R/CD-R
recorder is priced at US$2495 (MSRP). The DVD±R unit records DVD±Rs
at 4x and CD-Rs at 16x.

print 80mm mini-discs, rounded “hockey rink” mini-discs and business
